Mubasher: The unaudited financial results of SMN Power Holding showed a decline of 12.2% in the profits of the second quarter of 2016, according to a bourse filing.
The profits reached OMR 2.45 million ($3.45 million) down from OMR 2.79 million ($3.93 million) in Q2-15.
On the other hand, the company achieved a slight increase in the first half’s profits of the current year by 0.21% to OMR 4.44 million ($6.25 million), compared to OMR 4.43 million ($6.24 million) in H1-15.
The company’s net earnings fell 3.93% in H1-16 to OMR 10.21 million ($26.5 million), from OMR 10.63 million ($27.60 million) in H1-15.
The capital expenditures also declined to OMR 4.76 million ($12.3 million), compared to OMR 4.96 million ($12.8 million) in the same half of 2015.
