Mubasher: Salalah Port Services Company turned to losses in the first quarter of 2017 compared to the same quarter in 2016, according to the company’s unaudited financial statements.
The company’s losses in Q1-17 stood at OMR 1.02 million ($2.64 million) against net profits of OMR 1.57 million ($4.06 million) in Q1-16, the statements pointed out.
Quarterly financial results of the company were affected by a decline of 11.6% in total revenues during Q1-17 reaching OMR 12.19 million, compared to OMR 13.79 million in Q1-16.
Annual profits increased 10.5% reaching OMR 5.73 million in 2016, compared to OMR 5.18 million in 2015.
