Cairo – Mubasher: The net losses of Sharm Dreams Company for Touristic Investment widened by 18.7% on an annual basis during the first half (H1) of 2022, reaching EGP 40.53 million, compared to EGP 34.14 million.
Loss per share for H1-22 amounted to EGP 0.76, compared with EGP 0.64 in H1-21, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.
Revenues for the six-month period ended 30 June 2022 hiked to EGP 11.49 million, compared to EGP 6.60 million in the same period in 2021.
In the second quarter (Q2) of the year, the company’s net losses stood at EGP 27.60 million, an increase from EGP 8.35 million in Q2-21.
Similarly, revenues rose to EGP 8.82 million during Q2-22 from EGP 5.43 million in Q2-21.
During the January-March period in 2022, the net losses of Sharm Dreams decreased to EGP 12.92 million, compared to EGP 14.77 million in the year-ago period.
