Mubasher: Sohar Power’s net profit for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2016 rose by 42% to OMR 1.73 million ($4.5 million), versus OMR 1.22 million ($3.16 million) for Q3-15.
Net profit for the first nine months of 2016 reached OMR 3.6 million, 108.23% up from OMR 1.73 million for the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing released on Sunday.
The company earlier posted a net profit of OMR 1.87 million for the first half of 2016, rising 266% compared to OMR 511,000 for H1-15.
