Mubasher: Sohar Power reported a 806.7% growth in its second-quarter profits, according to a bourse statement.
Profits reached OMR 1.36 million ($3.52 million) in Q2-16, compared to OMR 150,000 ($388,500) in Q2-15.
In the first half of 2016, profits grew 266% to OMR 1.87 million from OMR 511,000 in H1-15.
The board announced the distribution of 4.132% dividends or 4.132 baiza per share for the first six months of 2016, the bourse filing said, adding that the dividends will be payable to shareholders of record at the end of trading day on 4 August.
