South Cairo Mills records 15% higher loss in Q1-21/22 initial financials

Cairo – Mubasher: South Cairo and Giza Flour Mills and Bakeries incurred net losses of EGP 10.57 million in the first quarter (Q1) of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, up by 15.1% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 9.18 million, the unaudited financial results showed. 

The revenues retreated to EGP 35.9 million in the three-month period ended 30 September, compared to EGP 46.14 million in the prior-year period, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Sunday. 

In FY20/21, the company suffered net losses of EGP 59.44 million, up from EGP 34.36 million in FY19/20.
