Mubasher: Takaful Oman Insurance reported a growth in profits for the fourth quarter of 2016 by 3.8% year-on-year, as shown by the company’s financial statements.
Profits totalled OMR 619,290 ($1.6 million) in Q4-16 compared to OMR 596,650 ($1.55 million) in Q4-15, the company said in a statement to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) on Wednesday.
As for annual results, profits surged by 61.8% in 2016 to a total of OMR 2.75 million up from OMR 1.7 million in the year before.
