CELLCOM, better known as Evertek, realized a net profit of 462,124 dinars at the end of the first half of the year against 618,494 dinars during the same period in 2016, recording a decrease of 25, 3%.
The company’s total revenues reached 11.8 million dinars at the end of the first six months of the year, against 15 million a year earlier, down 20.9%. Operating expenses, on the other hand, fell by 25.2% year-on-year to 11.35 million dinars.
The operating result for the period thus exceeded 511,334 dinars against a negative result of 182,819 dinars in the first half of 2016.
In addition, net financial expenses more than doubled compared to June 2016 to reach 1 million dinars as at 30 June.
