Mubasher: Unicap Investment and Finance has suffered losses worth about KWD 766,690 ($2.53 million) during the third quarter ended 30 September 2019, against profits of around KWD 421,020 ($1.39 million) in the same period in 2018.
During the period from January to September of the year, the losses amounted to KWD 1.34 million, versus profits worth KWD 3.47 million in 2018.
The turn to losses is attributed to the company’s lower share from the financials of sister companies, according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.
It is worth noting that over the first half of 2019, Unicap registered losses of nearly KWD 569,660, against profits of KWD 3.04 million in H1-18.
