Mubasher: Voltamp Energy Company’s initial unaudited results showed a 2% year-on-year rise in its profits for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2016.
Net profit amounted to OMR 839,550 ($2.17 million) in Q3-16, versus OMR 821,790 ($2.13 million) for Q3-15, according to a bourse filing released on Monday.
In the first nine months of the year, net profit after tax reached OMR 2.51 million, 6.79% up from OMR 2.35 million for the same period of 2015.
Total revenues grew 16.34% to OMR 29.16 million from OMR 25.07 million for the corresponding period last year.
Voltamp earlier posted a net profit of OMR 1 million for Q2-16, 2% down from OMR 1.02 million for Q2-15.
