Cairo - Mubasher: The financial statements of Wadi Kom Ombo Land Reclamation (WKOL) showed a growth in profits in the second quarter of fiscal year 2016-2017 by 33.72%.
According to the company’s statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday, profits reached EGP 1.13 million, compared to EGP 845,000 in the same period the year before.
Profits also increased by 9.1% year-on-year in the first half of FY2016-17 to EGP 1.657 million.
In a separate statement, Wadi Kom Ombo revealed that the flotation of the Egyptian Pound didn’t effect the company’s financial position, since all of its operations are in EGP.
