Mubasher: Warba Capital Holding Co registered a loss of about KWD 544,000 ($1.79 million) during the second quarter ended on 31 January 2019 when compared to nearly KWD 102,500 ($338,000) in the same period a year ago, a year-on-year increase of 430%.
During the six-month period ended on 31 January 2019, Warba Capital incurred an increase of 220% in losses to KWD 676,180 compared to nearly KWD 211,350 in the same period a year ago, according to a bourse statement on Tuesday.
Warba Capital registered an operating loss of KWD 291,580 in the six months ended on 31 January 2018 when compared to revenues of KWD 47,170 in the same period last year.
It is noteworthy that the shareholders of the company agreed on 10 January to change the name from Boubyan International Industries Holding to become Warba Capital.
