Mubasher: Zad Holding Company on Tuesday reported a 0.7% year-on-year increase in its profits for the second quarter of 2018.
Net profits amounted to QAR 64.99 million ($17.96) in Q2-18, compared to QAR 65.44 million ($18.08 million) in Q2-17, according to the company’s filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
For the first half of 2018, the firm’s net profits inched up 0.05% to QAR 114.75 million, from QAR 114.69 million in H1-17.
Earnings per share (EPS) remained unchanged at QAR 4.84 for the six-month period ended 30 June.
It is worth noting that the company’s profits in Q1-18 rose 1% to QAR 49.76 million, from QAR 49.25 in Q1-17.
