Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned floating-rate treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 5 billion through one issue on Monday, 9 September 2024.
The CBE also unveiled floating-rate T-bonds at a value of EGP 2 billion through one auction, according to official data.
It is worth highlighting that the two offerings carry a tenor of three years until 13 August 2027.
Earlier this week, the financial authority issued treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 60 billion through two tranches.
