Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: ADNOC Gas generated profits and net income valued at $2.37 billion in the first half (H1) of 2024, up from $2.25 billion in H1-23.
The revenues hiked year-on-year (YoY) to $9.42 billion in H1-24 from $8.16 billion, according to the consolidated financial results.
Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) hit $0.031 as of 30 June 2024, lower than $0.034 in H1-23.
Income Results for Q2
During the second quarter (Q2) of 2024, ADNOC Gas achieved $1.18 billion in net profit, marking an annual rise from $983.65 million.
Revenues widened to $4.86 billion in April-June 2024 from $4.05 billion in Q2-23, while the basic and diluted EPS went up to $0.016 from $0.013.
Dividends
ADNOC Gas increased its annual dividend per share by 5%, aligning with its dividend policy to distribute a total of $3.41 billion for the full year 2024.
The board of directors approved an interim dividend of $1.70 billion, scheduled for distribution in September. The approved interim dividend equals a dividend per share of 8.16 fils.
Meanwhile, a planned final dividend of $1.70 billion will be distributed in April 2025, pending approval at the annual general meeting (AGM).
As of 31 March 2024, the group’s revenues witnessed a 15% YoY leap to $6.01 billion.
