Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bullish performance in Monday’s early trades, spurred by the rise of five stocks topped by Aldar Properties and Etisalat.
The general index rose 0.43% or 19.01 points to reach 4,536.16 points by 8:07am UAE time.
The telecom sector was the best performer after adding 2.7% as Etisalat grew 2.7%.
The real estate sector went up 1.47% as Eshraq Properties and Aldar climbed 2.9% and 1.48% respectively.
On the flipside, the consumer staples sector fell 3.5% as Agthia Group retreated 4.4%.
The market saw trading of 17.35 million shares through 180 transactions, with a turnover of AED 21.68 million.
