Riyadh – Mubasher: Arab National Bank (ANB) intends to issue US dollar-denominated sustainable Additional Tier 1 sukuk under its international issuance program.
The bank updated the program on 20 August 2026, following a board of directors resolution passed on 30 June 2025. The potential offering will be directed toward qualified investors in Saudi Arabia and international markets through a special purpose vehicle.
The bank has appointed a syndicate of managers for the offering, including ANB Capital, Arqaam Capital Limited, Emirates NBD Capital Limited, Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Goldman Sachs International, HSBC Bank, Mizuho International plc, Standard Chartered Bank, and Warba Bank K.S.C.P. to lead the subscription and book-running process.
The final value and specific terms of the sukuk will be determined at a later date based on prevailing market conditions.
Proceeds from the issuance are intended to optimize the bank’s Tier 1 capital and support general corporate banking activities.
The transaction remains subject to approval from relevant regulatory authorities and will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, ANB generated a net profit of SAR 2.78 billion, an annual rise of 5.38% from the SAR 2.64 billion.
