Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Aviation Company has named Mohammed Saeed Al Remeithi as the CEO, effective from 1 June 2024, according to a bourse disclosure.
Al Remeithi has experience in aviation with a proven track record in strategic leadership, operations management, and project delivery.
With more than 18 years of experience at Abu Dhabi Aviation, the CEO is skilled in providing strategic direction, growth and dynamic leadership, enhancing operational efficiency.
He served as the Deputy General Manager for eight years, during which he developed business strategies, supervised financial management and budget in line with the company’s growth strategy.
Al Remeithi is a board member of the Abu Dhabi Aviation Training Centre (ADATC) and Agusta Westland Aviation Services Company (AWAS).
He holds a higher diploma in aircraft maintenance engineering from the Higher Colleges of Technology - Abu Dhabi and a bachelor's degree in management engineering and technology.
In the first quarter (Q1) of 2024, Abu Dhabi Aviation logged net profits valued at AED 223.19 million, an annual growth from AED 101.76 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) increased to AED 0.50 in Q1-24 from AED 0.19 a year earlier, while the revenues from contracts with customers fell to AED 407.82 million from AED 622.36 million.
