Riyadh – Mubasher: Egypt’s hybrid national airline Air Cairo has partnered with the Saudi travel company Almosafer, a subsidiary of Seera Group Holding, to become the exclusive general sales agent (GSA) of Air Cairo in Saudi Arabia, according to a press release.
Choosing Almosafer was based on its strong market presence and reputation in the Kingdom, where it will provide Air Cairo's clients with promotional deals and on-ground activities while utilising the strength of Almosafer’s businesses like its destination management company Discover Saudi as well as its Hajj and Umrah tour operator Mawasim.
Air Cairo has been expanding its network since it was launched in 2003, focusing on offering safe travel and ensuring greater connectivity and accessibility to its passengers.
Chairman of Air Cairo, Pilot Ahmed Shannan, said: "We are delighted to collaborate with Almosafer to offer our services to a broad spectrum of travelers from Saudi Arabia and beyond.”
Shannan noted: “We are confident that Almosafer's expertise and credibility in the region will enable us to broaden our reach and offer cost-effective travel options to all."
Muzzammil Ahussain, CEO of Almosafer, added: “We are confident that this collaboration will enhance the travel sector in the region and offer greater flexibility and comfort to all travellers.”
The CEO concluded: “Through this partnership, we aim to deliver outstanding value to our customers and create exceptional travel experiences tailored to meet the diverse needs of all travel segments."
Earlier in 2024, Almosafer teamed up with Riyadh Air to become its inaugural travel partner in Saudi Arabia.
