Ajwa Egypt’s standalone losses edge up in 9M

Cairo – Mubasher: Ajwa Group for Food Industries – Egypt reported a 4.7% rise in its net losses during the January-September period of 2019, according to the company’s standalone financial statement.

The company’s net losses stood at EGP 24.86 million in the nine-month period ended 30 September, compared to EGP 23.75 million in the prior-year period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.

Meanwhile, sales retreated to EGP 190.03 million in the first nine months of the year from EGP 258.46 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.   

It is noteworthy that during the first half of 2019, the company suffered standalone net loss of EGP 14.49 million, versus EGP 9.1 million in H1-18.
