Mubasher: Kuwait Real Estate Holding (Al Aqaria) incurred an 86% year-on-year increase in losses to nearly KWD 63,610 ($209,700) during the second quarter of 2018 when compared to around KWD 34,210 ($112,800).
During the first half of 2019, Al Aqaria registered a decline of 10.5% in profits to approximately KWD 28,940 from nearly KWD 32,340 in the same six months last year, according to a bourse disclosure on Monday.
Al Aqaria ascribed the decrease in H1-19 profits to Boursa Kuwait’s higher subscription fees.
It is worth noting that during the first quarter of 2019, Al Aqaria recorded an increase of 39% in profits to about KWD 92,550 as compared to nearly KWD 66,550 in the same quarter a year earlier.
