Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Babtain Power and Telecommunication Company registered a decrease of 15.5% in net profits after Zakat and tax to SAR 31 million in the first half (H1) of 2021 from SAR 36.7 million in H1-20.
Earnings per share declined to SAR 0.73 in the January-June 2021 period from SAR 0.86 in the same six months last year, according to the financial results on Wednesday.
Revenues increased by 3.5% to SAR 707.8 million in H1-21 from SAR 683.7 million in H1-20.
In the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, Al Babtain Power posted a plunge of 30.9% in net profits to SAR 15.53 million from SAR 22.5 million in Q2-20.
Revenues grew by 31.7% to SAR 385.8 million in Q2-21 from SAR 294.1 million in Q2-20.
On a quarterly basis, the net profits saw a marginal decline from Q1-21 profits, while the revenues soared by 19.8% from SAR 322 million.
