Riyadh - Mubasher: Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Company shifted to net losses after Zakat attributable to shareholders amounting to SAR 244.44 million in 2025, versus net profits of SAR 49.13 million in 2024.
The loss per share hit SAR 4.89 in January-December 2025 when compared with earnings per share (EPS) of SAR 0.98 a year earlier, according to the income statements.
Insurance revenues decreased by 15.78% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 1.25 billion by the end of 2025 from SAR 1.48 billion.
Accumulated Losses
At the end of December 2025, the Saudi company suffered accumulated losses worth SAR 162.07 million, representing 32.40% of its SAR 500 million capital.
During the first nine months (9M) of 2025, Al Etihad Cooperative incurred net losses worth SAR 109.15 million, against net profits of SAR 55.91 million in 9M-24.
