Cairo – Mubasher: Al Ezz Dekheila Steel – Alexandria incurred net losses of EGP 4.67 billion in 2020, down by 10.5% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 5.22 billion, including minority shareholders’ rights.

Sales retreated to EGP 33.94 billion last year, compared to EGP 38 billion in 2019, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
As for standalone business, the steel manufacturer suffered net losses of EGP 878.53 million in 2020, down from EGP 2.23 billion a year earlier.
During the first nine months of 2020, the company’s consolidated net losses increased by 54.49% YoY to EGP 3.48 billion from EGP 2.25 billion in the same period in 2019, including minority shareholders’ rights.
