Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of Al Jouf Cement Company approved the resignation of Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Ababtain from his position as chairman of the audit committee.
Ababtain, an independent member from outside the board of directors, submitted his resignation on 13 September 2026, with the decision taking effect on the same date.
The company stated that the resignation was submitted due to personal reasons. Ababtain had served as a member of the audit committee since 4 July 2025.
The board of directors expressed its appreciation for his contributions and efforts during his tenure with the committee
Al Jouf Cement did not immediately name a successor to lead the audit committee following the departure.
The company’s board members recently approved several changes to its sub-committees, effective between 12 and 14 September 2026.
