Mubasher: Al Meera Consumer Goods on Monday announced that it has started the construction of its new branch in Al-Amerat area, Oman, in September.
The new branch’s total cost amounted to QAR 70 million ($19.2 million), according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
Opening new projects is part of the Qatari company’s efforts to provide consumers with the best products at affordable prices, along with coming in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
In August, Al Meera posted a 19.3% year-on-year drop in its profits to QAR 49.93 million for the second quarter of 2018, compared to QAR 61.84 million in the same three months in 2017.
