Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) announced, on 23 July 2024, the appointment of Fahad Al Saif as the Head of the Investment Strategy & Economic Insights Division, effective immediately.
Al Saif will continue in his existing role as the PIF’s Head of the Global Capital Finance Division, according to a press release.
In his new role, Al Saif will be responsible for guiding the development of PIF's overarching investment strategy, in addition to market trends, sustainability, and net zero strategies.
Furthermore, he will ensure the utilisation by the division of sophisticated economic research and advanced analytics to allow effective decision-making for the PIF’s leadership.
As for his role in the Global Capital Finance Division, Al Saif will continue to oversee and monitor financing activities such as capital finance strategy development and government asset transfer projects. This will be in addition to capital raising and structuring, funding advisory, financial institutions and investor relationship management.
