Aldar to create 1,000 jobs for UAE national by 2026

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Aldar Properties will provide job opportunities for 1,000 Emiratis over the next five years, which is in line with the Emiratisation goals announced in the UAE’s 'Projects of the 50' initiative.

This decision aims to support the NAFIS programme, aiming to empower UAE nationals to occupy jobs in the private sector in the next five years and raise the competitiveness of Emirati human resources, according to a press release on Sunday.

For both fresh graduates and experienced professionals, Aldar will create 200 roles each year for five years across its subsidiaries and partner companies and in roles related to investment and development management, education, retail, and hospitality.

The company will also offer local talents opportunities in specialist areas such as sustainability, innovation, digital transformation, data and analytics, and sales.

Currently, UAE nationals represent half of Aldar’s executive management team and hold CEO positions at Aldar Group, Aldar Investment, Aldar Projects, and Aldar Ventures, with 32% of department head roles occupied by Emiratis.

In addition, 33.5% of Aldar employees are Emiratis with over 100 locals having joined the company in the past two years.

The Group CEO of Aldar Properties, Talal Al Dhiyebi, said: "By driving the adoption of this initiative, we will deliver on our purpose as a responsible organisation and be an active enabler of the continued development of our national economy."

Meanwhile, the Executive Director for People, Culture and Performance of Aldar Properties, Bayan Al Hosani, remarked: "Real estate, investment, innovation, sustainability and education will play a significant role in the development of the UAE, meaning these talented Emiratis will be at the forefront of the country’s future."
