Cairo - Mubasher: The extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of Alexandria Medical Services - Alexandria New Medical Center approved a decision to increase the issued and paid-up capital to EGP 124.58 million from EGP 114.19 million.
The capital will be increased by EGP 10.38 million through the issuance of 1.29 million bonus shares at a nominal value of EGP 8 apiece, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
The one-for-11 bonus issue will be funded from the shareholders’ dividends for the year ended 31 December 2020.
During the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Alexandria Medical Services reported net profits of EGP 12.3 million, compared to EGP 5.16 million in Q1-20.
