Riyadh – Mubasher: Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company was awarded, on 17 September, a SAR 219.98 million project contract with the National Water Company (NWC).
The agreement covers the expansion of the tertiary treatment plant in Dammam with a daily capacity of 125,000 cubic metres (m3) and the rehabilitation of the existing plant, according to a bourse filing.
Meanwhile, the purchase order is expected to reflect on the listed company’s income statements during the first quarter (Q1) of 2025.
Alkhorayef Water will announce any future developments regarding the project after receiving the final version of the agreement contract signed by all parties concerned.
Last July, the two entities signed purchase agreements at a total value of SAR 190.79 million.
