Dubai – Mubasher: The accumulated losses of Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) reached AED 149.44 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024.
The incurred accumulated losses represent 66.20% of the company’s paid-up capital, according to a bourse filing. This amount is higher than the AED 143.21 million accumulated losses registered in Q4-23.
Aman reported net losses attributable to the owners valued at AED 6.23 million in the first three months (3M) of 2024, compared to AED 6.37 million during the same period in 2023.
The loss per share from continuing operations remained unchanged at AED 0.028 at the end of March 2024.
Total assets hit AED 1 billion in Q1-24, versus AED 1.10 billion as of 31 December 2023.
