Riyadh — Mubasher: Amwaj International Company has invited its shareholders to an Ordinary General Assembly meeting (OGM) scheduled for 20 September 2026 at 18:30.
The meeting will be held both physically at the company’s headquarters and via modern technology, according to a bourse filing.
Agenda items of the OGM will focus on the discussion of the board and audit reports for the 2025 fiscal year.
The assembly follows a period of regulatory challenges for the company.
According to the audit committee report, Amwaj International discovered administrative and financial irregularities at one of its branches during 2025, resulting in inventory discrepancies totaling SAR 28.70 million.
These issues led to a delay in the issuance of annual financial statements and the subsequent suspension of the company's share trading on 30 April 2026.
Shareholders will vote on the appointment of an external auditor to review financial statements for the period ended on 30 June 2026, and the 2026 fiscal year.
Electronic voting for the assembly items is scheduled to begin at 1:00 on 16 September 2026. Meanwhile, the meeting requires a quorum of shareholders representing at least one-quarter of the company's voting shares to be valid.
