Riyadh — Mubasher: Amwaj International Company announced its inability to publish its consolidated interim financial results for the six-month period that ended on 30 June 2026, within the regulatory timeframe.
The delay follows the late completion of the company’s annual financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2025, which were not published until 28 July 2026.
The company stated that the extended timeline for the 2025 audit delayed the legal procedures required to appoint an auditor for the 2026 interim period.
Under Saudi regulations, the appointment of an external auditor requires shareholder approval.
Amwaj International has invited shareholders to an ordinary general assembly meeting scheduled for 20 September to vote on the selection of an auditor from the candidates recommended by the audit committee.
Trading of the company’s shares will be suspended commencing 2 September, in accordance with the Saudi Exchange listing rules regarding the failure to disclose financial results.
Amwaj International confirmed it will coordinate with the newly appointed auditor to finalize the review immediately after the general assembly’s approval and will provide monthly updates on its progress.
