Riyadh — Mubasher: United Wire Factories Company (Aslak) witnessed an annual increase in net profit to SAR 15.30 million during the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, compared to SAR 1.90 million.
The company attributed this performance primarily to higher profit margins and an increase in sales volumes.
Quarterly revenue rose to SAR 185.40 million, up from SAR 181.40 million in the prior-year quarter. Operating profit for the three-month period stood at SAR 11.70 million, a substantial recovery from the SAR 1.50 million recorded a year earlier.
On a sequential basis, the company returned to profitability following a net loss of SAR 1.10 million in Q1-26.
For the first half (H1) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 14.26 million, representing a sharp increase from SAR 1.24 million in H1-25. Total revenue for the half-year period grew to SAR 360.30 million from SAR 346.20 million.
The earnings per share (EPS) improved to SAR 0.51 in H1-26 from SAR 0.04 in the previous year. Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, was reported at SAR 369.90 million as of 30 June 2026.
