Cairo – Mubasher: Misr National Steel (Ataqa) recorded a net profit after tax of EGP 734.86 million in 2023, an annual hike from EGP 234.72 million a year earlier.
Sales grew to EGP 2.72 billion last year from EGP 2.48 billion in 2022, according to the annual financial results.
The earnings per share (EPS) reached EGP 0.612 in 2023, versus EGP 0.196 the year before.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2023, Ataqa’s consolidated net profits surged to EGP 593.57 million from EGP 115.50 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
