Cairo - Mubasher: Attijariwafa Bank announced that it has successfully delivered a bridge loan to finance the stake of Orascom Construction in building a new wind farm near the Suez Gulf, in the east of Egypt.
The project is first of its kind in the country and it came with the cooperation of Attijariwafa and a financing consortium in Casablanca, Morocco.
The consortium will operate and maintain the wind farm for 20 years, as per a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Egyptian government.
