Riyadh – Mubasher: Ayyan Investment Company has secured a Sharia-compliant credit facility totaling SAR 150 million from Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB).
The financing agreement, structured as a Tawarruq transaction, was finalized on 31 August 2026.
The facility is established as a revolving credit line with a maturity period of five years. To secure the funding, Ayyan Investment has provided a promissory note and pledged a portion of its investment portfolio assets as collateral.
Management stated that the primary objective of the financing is to support the expansion of the company’s investment activities.
Specifically, the capital will be deployed into equity instruments, including both listed shares on the Saudi exchange and ownership stakes in unlisted private companies.
The company noted that the facility was obtained at competitive rates and confirmed there are no related parties involved in the transaction.
Ayyan Investment recently submitted its capital reduction application file to the Capital Market Authority (CMA). The proposal seeks to lower the capital from SAR 1 billion to SAR 757.59 million.
