Cairo – Mubasher: Banque du Caire logged standalone net profits after tax valued at EGP 5.71 billion in the first half (H1) of 2024, compared to EGP 2.59 billion in H1-23.
Net income hit EGP 12.84 billion as of 30 June 2024, marking a year-on-year (YoY) leap from EGP 7.97 billion, according to the financial statements.
In the first six months (6M) of 2024, the earnings per share (EPS) hit EGP 0.78, versus EGP 0.52 in H1-23.
Total assets hiked to EGP 449.60 billion at the end of June 2024 from EGP 401.64 billion as of 31 December 2023, while the customers’ deposits surged to EGP 315.15 billion from EGP 302.06 billion.
Income statements for Q2
During the second quarter (Q2) of 2024, Banque du Caire posed higher net profits at EGP 3.33 billion, compared to EGP 1.55 billion in Q2-23.
Meanwhile, the net income amounted to EGP 6.47 billion in April-June 2024, an annual jump from EGP 4.02 billion.
As of 31 December 2023, the lender’s net profits after tax hiked by 112.77% to EGP 6.66 billion from EGP 3.13 billion a year earlier.
