Mubasher: Bayan Investment suffered a loss of about KWD 155,090 ($512,440) during the third quarter of 2018 against profits valued at nearly KWD 445,270 ($1.47 million) in the same quarter last year, according to a recent statement.
In the first nine months of 2018, Bayan incurred losses of around KWD 445,770 versus a profit of nearly KWD 69,810. This negative turn is attributed to a decrease in net investment income.
Operating revenues shrank by 71% to around KWD 318,300, while the company’s total assets stood at KWD 87.56 million.
