Cairo – Mubasher: Forbes Middle East named Ali Mokhtar, CEO and Managing Partner of Beltone Venture Capital, as one of the Top Venture Capitalists for 2024.
Mokhtar’s recognition was due to his contributions to the MENA startup ecosystem and his transformative leadership in the region, according to a press release.
He assumed his current role when Beltone Venture Capital was established in April 2023.
Beltone Venture Capital, a subsidiary of Beltone Holding, has built a robust portfolio, which includes 14 leading startups, such as Bosta, WayUp Sports, trucking marketplace Trella, Khazn, furniture e-commerce platform ariika, VelyVelo, cathedis, healthy F&B brand Lychee, and BirdNest.
In 2024 alone, Beltone Venture Capital concluded six major investments, boosting its portfolio to more than $40 million.
It joined forces with CI Venture Capital to manage Citadel International Holdings’ $30 million fund to support fast-growing startups across the region.
