Mubasher: The All-Share Market index of Boursa Kuwait declined by 1.24% or over 75 points this week to close at 6,000.1 points from 6,075.18 points a week earlier.
Similarly, the Premier and Main markets went down by 1.12% and 1.56%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover grew by 129.5% to KWD 131.78 million from KWD 57.41 million last week.
The trading volume also increased by 109.5% to total 721.96 million shares from 344.7 million.
Furthermore, the number of transactions shrank by 140.9% week-on-week to about 29,760 from approximately 12,350.
As for market cap, Boursa Kuwait lost KWD 437 million ($1.44 billion) over the week to stand at KWD 34.72 billion from KWD 35.16 billion on 15 August.
