CAFU launches globally with EV charging solution

UAE – Mubasher: Dubai-based fuel delivery and vehicle services platform CAFU announced its expansion into Canada through the introduction of an on-demand electric vehicle (EV) charging solution.

The global expansion marks CAFU’s first international entry since it was established in 2018, according to a press release.

The company intends to continue growing into other markets, while the EV charging solution is set to support users with no access to home charging and allow car owners in Quebec to charge their cars with a simple tap of a button.

Founder and CEO of CAFU, Rashid Al Ghurair, commented: “We are humbled to be able to take our homegrown services from Dubai to the world, starting with Canada. Our expansion into a new international market is a bold step towards growth and success as we bring our mobile EV charging solution to North America.”

The mobile EV charging solution technology by the UAE homegrown firm will expand charging options for EV drivers in addition to promoting easy adoption in the future.

As part of its commitment to becoming a carbon neutral business, CAFU began reporting its Greenhouse Gas emissions in 2021.

It is worth noting that the company increased its fleet size by nearly 41% in 2022, while its customer base soared by 19%. It further added 70 additional trucks to the fleet, resulting in a 10% slight increase in emissions when compared to 2021.

The company unveiled: “Implementing emission-reducing initiatives, such as the Route80 Project, CAFU improved the efficiency of their trucks, reducing their emissions per order by 10%.”

Meanwhile, Al Ghurair said: “This is just the beginning of our journey, as we grow our footprint regionally and globally, and sustainability and clean energy will remain at the core of our business. Our understanding of tomorrow’s mobility requirements has grown due to forward-thinking businesses and the ever-changing consumer behavior.”
