Riyadh — Mubasher: CATRION Catering Holding Company announced that its net profit reached SAR 171.05 million during the first nine months (9M) of 2026, reflecting a 27.88% decrease from SAR 237.19 million a year earlier.
Total revenue surged by 17.68% to SAR 2.09 billion in 9M-26, according to the income statements.
Earnings per share (EPS) for the period stood at SAR 2.09, compared to SAR 2.89 in 9M-25.
Total shareholders' equity increased by 5.06% to SAR 1.57 billion as of 30 September 2026.
In the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, CATRION delivered a 55.60% decline in net profit to SAR 43.08 million from SAR 97.02 million in the same period last year.
The company attributed the drop to temporary pressures on its aviation services segment, where regional instability led to fewer flights and meals served.
Quarterly revenue rose by 19.93% to SAR 740.25 million in Q3-26, supported by growth in non-aviation sectors including the Red Sea project, business lounges, and the consolidation of Gulf Catering Company following its acquisition in March 2026.
However, profitability was weighed down by increased financing costs related to project funding and lease liabilities under IFRS 16, alongside higher losses from an associate investment.
