Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned fixed treasury bonds (T-bonds) valued at EGP 5 billion through one issue on Monday, 23 September 2024.
The CBE also unveiled floating-rate T-bonds at a value of EGP 2 billion through one auction.
The two offerings will mature in three years on 13 August 2027, according to official data.
On 16 September, the central bank issued T-bonds and floating-rate bonds at a combined value of EGP 1.25 billion.
