Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 80 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 26 October.
The first issue was valued at EGP 35 billion and will mature in 91 days on 27 January 2026, according to official data.
With a tenor of 273 days until 28 July next year, the second offering stood at EGP 45 billion.
On 23 October, the central bank issued T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 90 billion.
