Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 20.50 billion through two issues on Thursday, 12 May.
The first tranche stood at EGP 12.50 billion, carrying a 182-day maturity period until 15 November this year, according to official data.
The second offering was valued at EGP 8 billion, holding a tenor of 364 days until 16 May 2023.
On 9 May, the CBE issued T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 24 billion through two tranches.
