Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 72 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 24 November 2024.
The first issue was valued at EGP 45 billion and carries a maturity period of 91 days until 25 February 2025, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second tranche stood at EGP 27 billion, holding a tenor of 273 days until 26 August next year.
On 21 November, the CBE announced T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 52 billion through two issues.
