Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 42 billion through two auctions on Thursday, 13 July.
Holding a tenor of 182 days until 16 January 2024, the first issue was valued at EGP 18.50 billion, according to official data.
The second tranche stood at EGP 23.50 billion and will mature in 364 days on 16 July next year.
On 9 July, the central bank issued T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 40 billion through two offerings.
