Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 39.50 billion through two issues on Thursday, 1 June.
Carrying a 182-day maturity period until 5 December 2023, the first tranche was valued at EGP 16.50 billion.
The second issue stood at EGP 23 billion and will mature in 364 days on 4 June 2024, according to official data.
On 28 May, the CBE auctioned T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 40 billion through two offerings.
