Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 60 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 8 September 2024
The first tranche stood at EGP 40 billion and will mature in 91 days on 10 December this year, according to official data.
With a 273-day maturity period until 10 June 2025, the second auction was valued at EGP 20 billion.
On 5 September, the CBE issued T-bills at a combined value of EGP 55 billion through two auctions.
